James Larter - percussionist, drummer, pianist, composer and arranger enjoys a varied and eclectic musical career. He has had regular appearances with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and toured with the Philharmonia Orchestra. He has appeared on session recordings with Sampha, Omar, Alan Darby and Zak Abel and has a passion for vibrant contemporary solo percussion music. James has played at London and New York’s most prestigious venues: the Royal Albert Hall, the Wigmore Hall, the Festival Hall, the Purcell Room, Ronnie Scott’s, the Lincoln Center and St John the Divine. He has also played as a soloist on BBC Radio 3 with the BBC Philharmonic. James plans to continue to expand his wide musical horizons from regular residencies in London and Spain to being a composer of film music.
